(Best music for imagine the Central and South America countries in my opinion <3).

:pointr: And this is my idea of Brazil in Hetalia.

Many people questioned me, with a big question mark on their face, but I imagined no better appearence for her than
that of indian people.

Brazil is one of the most multi-racial countries in the world. Just as an example, São Paulo is the second biggest capital in number of japoneses, the first being Tokyo! And the Italo-Brazilians are considerate the biggest oriundi (Italy descendent) population in the world.
So I got my inspiration at History.
When the Portugueses arrived here, the first contact with Indians was peaceful and many portugueses have even married with natives.
And, of course, part of the national population is made of Indians and tribes that still don't have any technological contacts.
Amazing, isn't it? A part of the country contains large cities and technology and the the other preserves the old habits and way of life of many years ago.
Anyway, enough of that lesson of history and let's go to what's important. XP

(I know! I know! It's getting bigger, but, i don't get tired to find more historical informations !)

- Brazil is the 5th largest country in the world, contains various cultures of all other places in the globe and a huge biodiversity, thanks to Amazon.

-Her original name is Airumã (Morning star) but Portugal gave her a second name, Luciliana, which is more used to refer to her than her original name. When someone calls her Airumã, she is sure that it's somenthing serious.

- Completelly sweetheart, Brazil has a huge maternal instinct, and simply can not resist the things that can be classified as "kawaii", which usually means everything that can make a cute face.
(In fact, the Indian mothers, are know to feed orphan animals with their own milk and, of course, Brazil is a receptive nation [ VERY receptive ²]).
She also likes to help take care of small countries that are still under development.

- Most of the time, she feels heat, that's why she uses her jacket open like that (She also stay without the jacket most of the time².) and she LOVES dresses.
Yeah definitely, best present for her is a pretty dress or maybe just some icecream.

- Yes, she is tanned! :heart: (actually indian-tanned)

-She is very shy for romantic/love things, but when she really love something (or someone) she is nof afraid of showing her emotions, which can be shocking sometimes.

- Her Arara, Aretusa, is very jealous of her, then it is good to take care with what you say when she is close...

- Prefer to keep friendships than get into conflict. As if she can keep it in a neutral position, she will. She hates when people fights and has the habit of trying to stop them (even with its not with her) by crying and begging, since she was little. This sometimes puts her into some unpleasant situations.

- LOVE to put lots of sugar in everything . ( Sweettener are for LOSERS!11!!!)
In Fact Brazil is the Biggest Sugar Producer in the world ranked at N°1!
This is so big, that the sociologist Gilberto Freyre made an interesting comparison about sugar and Brazil, and if can descible Luci better than anything:
"Sugar made our manners and gestures more kind. It softened the words spoken on Brazil, sounding as boned, so sweet before the Portuguese salt and metalic from Portugal. Sugar is so settled in the Brazilian soul that inspiring synonyms for all grades.
In the right dose, it's kindness, meekness, gentleness.
With a grain of dare is charm, seduction.
On exaggeration, it is sick, and boring."

- Have a relationship of hatred and affection for Portugal, but always remains friendly, until the memories of her past are used against her (or he try took control under her again and in her decisions).
Her curls were made by him, when she was little, and she used her hair like that since then.
Portugal deeply regrets what he did for her. Even forgiving him, he knows that she never was te same and still have deep scars in her memories to become the same little Brazil he meets.

- Talking about people here, she biggest loss was Tiradentes, her first liberty-friend that died in a heroic (and terrible) way to make her free.
D.Pedro I also made her his protected and teached her how to fight and to be free.
Dumond made her adicted for flying and planes (she already always loved birds).
Tom Jobim made a music for her (tee hee did you know?)

- Despite being soo nice and calm, she can end up fighting with Argentina a few times. Especially when he tries to cut her curls².
They don't have "big" problens with each other, it's more like a "brothers" competition. (But they're not brothers!)
Especially at football !
They "meet" each other in the Triplice Alliance War ( Paraguay X Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay) and become friends at those times.
Years later, they created the "Mercosul" together, to move South economy, and then, the others joined too.


- "Oh Brazil you came! You going to be my support² in the war! You're soo cute and sweetheart, Italy going to surrender more easy!"
-That's what America sayd
"And... Can you keep him at your house too? We know you are more patient...² *cough*I mean, more qualified! I will give to you Doitsu instructions..."
-England finished.

She does not have great belic strength, and her participation at the war was relatively small but it was vital so that the allies could rid the North of Italy of Nazi control and prevent the South to be taken.
She never wanted to fight with Italy, and, also cryied that for him what ended up crying with her too, and then, (surprise lol) surrender. (What makes Germany goes soo mad ¹²³²³ )
Italy also had a good-time at her house, with all the free pasta he can eat and the best guestroom.

"... He is our PRISIONER !! Not your GUEST!! Stop to spoil him Brazil !! *facepalm*"
-France didn't know what to do with her.

- She has an old and special friendship with Germany(1824), a "colorful" with Italy and sweet with Japan(1880).
Germany started to help her, teaching somethings about him house (and also leaving a little extra barrel of beer for her friends).
Italy came in the next ship and got a little more, making her house become full of pasta and italian things (She is also addicted to pizza since that).
For last but not least, she helped Japan welcoming and taking care of him population when he had food-problems.
Her great friendship with them made very difficult to decide wich side to join at war and she also tried do stay neutral, but in the end helped America too.

- Also America, and Mexico childood friend! ( Meet them in summers at Portugal and England houses, since Antonio used to visit Arthur too.)
They give her inspiration for her own liberty when they grown-up.
She keeps a more "higher" friendship with Alfred 'cause they're more closer when young.
But founds Mexico extremely funny and meet him many times, since him "brothers" lives all next to her.

- She do have friendships with the other contries of South, but is more next to Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay(even if they alrady kicked each-other).
But before that, she was some alone, In the other side of sea, and all neightbors are "brothers of that stupid tomato freak" like Portugal used to say. (Yeah he hate Spain lol)
(Yeah People! Portugal and Spain are not the same!
People keeps going confused by that, but they're totally different! - And Portugueses do like to leave it CLEAR LOL!-
Portugal had more influences of Lusitania, that also, made papa Roma get lots of headaches ~!)


-She calls England "Uncle Arthur". If people really study this part os history better, going to see that Portugal and England have an old² friendship and both are always helping each-other (England in the most part of time have to save Portugal but ...lol).
When America gets him liberty, she becomes a kind of "emotional support" for him.
Also, England made big efforts to have directly trades with Brazil, cutting scopes of colonial formal relations with Portugal and open informals with himself (And it helped her to get her liberty a lot).
In one of her vistis, he gave her two football balls and teached her about it... Then, it's all England fault !!! LOL
Blame him for the cups she won!


- France, constantly says for bother her, when he comes to visit Guyane: "If you would came with me, you wouldn't got passed for those things with Portugal!!"
She also take care of little Guyane for him, since he is too busy taking of himself. (Pff!!)
She is also him representative at South America.

- Sometimes she can be seen taking care of Acre-chan. Although many people believe that he, actually, is just the imagination of Brazil and Bolivia, he does exists and, although he is small, he can be sometimes scary.
(Acre is a State in Brazil that, for a short period of time, was independent )

-"Every little thing can changes the world. So let's be pround of every little good thing we do, 'cause we're changing the world all the time!" - This is her favorite self-quote and what she always uses to cheer up not only herself, but her friends too.
Another one that nobody can deny is: "I'M BRAZILIAN AND NEVER GUIVE-UP!!!"!
All Brazilian know that one, and if you ask then, no surprises they know it.

- Her personal fight-style is the "Capoeira!". Created it with her African "sisters", Brazil leaves her kindness by side and shows stars to the enemy with beautiful air kicks that can pwned anyone!

- She is a good cooker and loves to learn how to cook different things. It comes about the fact of her big miscegenation of her people too!

- She sometimes "forget" about herself. This also mades her "grow" a little slow.

-Belive it or not, she can get drunk too.
Just some Caipirinhas and bang! Luckly she don't ENJOY to get drunk lol

I'm making a carnival drawing for Brazil, so, you'll be bombed with Carnival infos a lot ñ_ñ Be ready! *evil laughs*
Also, Luci loves to dance, and not only in the carnival !
One of the most loveds and typical musics of Pernambuco, are the Frevo, that also is loved around the world the much Samba is!
Pagode is very knew on all the contry too, like a "son" of the Samba and how we can forget the Bossa-Nova?
The MPB (Musica Popular Brasileira, or PBM Popular Brazilian Music for you eh?) is very loved and nowadays still a favorite.
Luci musics are always happy and dancing! Nobody can stops when hears them!
